The hand knotted carpets from the Nuovo Collection have remarkable characteristics!
The yarn is made from hand spun pure silk and a mixture of hand carded and hand spun Ghazni & Argentina wool and have an irregular texture. The yarn is vegetable dyed. The knotting is a challenge due to the complex designs and the application of different pile heights. By using the Persian knot, the designs can be perfectly realised to create a high class unique carpet.
